What if adjusting your seat, opening the trunk, or toggling traction control felt as easy as second nature? At Ford, I tackled this challenge head-on by designing a vehicle controls framework that put commonly used features within quick, intuitive reach. The result? A driving experience that’s not just safer but effortlessly enjoyable, no matter your level of tech expertise.

I collaborated with designers and product managers at Amazon to make the Alexa app feel native within Ford and Lincoln’s infotainment system. By adapting Amazon’s automotive design principles to align with Ford and Lincoln’s UI language, I ensured a seamless, intuitive experience that felt both familiar and cohesive. This process involved refining visual styles, interaction patterns, and system behaviors to create a natural extension of the vehicle’s interface while maintaining the core Alexa experience.

Handing over your car shouldn’t mean compromising your privacy. I designed the Valet Mode feature for Ford and Lincoln vehicles, allowing users to securely hand over their car while protecting personal data and settings. This feature restricts access to sensitive information—like navigation history—and limits specific vehicle functions to ensure both privacy and security. My role focused on streamlining the user flow and ensuring seamless integration within the car’s infotainment system.
